Our Story

Several years ago, I went to Brazil to see my grandparents on a trip that turned out to be life-changing. There was a part of me that had never been able to keep up with the modern, fast-paced American lifestyle, and I never felt that my values were aligned with the busy world around me. To me, life beckoned towards something deeper, something intangible. I craved a life centered around family, quality time with friends, a slower pace, and a true work-life balance. Immersed in Brazilian culture, I realized how fully the people there personified this lifestyle that I yearned for. They live a simple life, one that revolves around friends, family, laughter, and a lot of sunshine. Seeing this in action changed my outlook on everything and made me believe that this life I wanted to live was indeed possible for myself and so many others. 

The inspiration for this dress was born out of that trip and I have spent years working hard to bring it to you. It makes me feel confident. It makes getting ready so easy. It reminds me that spending time in the sun is important. Every time I put it on, it reminds me of how I want to live my life. It is my dream that it will do this for you as well.
